Christi Phillips' interest in European history has led her all over the continent. To research The Rossetti Letter, she traveled to Venice, Florence and throughout the Tuscan countryside. She recently returned from a trip to London and Cambridge, the setting for her second novel, The Devlin Diary. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband Brian Beverly, an intellectual property attorney.
